Intersections at the University of Vienna
The project was developed in collaboration with the University of Vienna. The outdoor exhibition system Intersections enables the presentation of exhibitions across the university’s historic campus and inner gardens.
The modular elements form a flexible spatial structure that transforms the gardens into an open-air gallery. Designed for exhibitions in public space, the system offers places to sit, gather, observe, and engage with content, while subtly organizing movement and interaction within the landscape.
Integrated display surfaces ensure a clear and durable presentation of information, while the sculptural forms encourage informal use, such as resting, climbing, playing, and spontaneous encounters.
Designed for year-round use, the Intersections system remains accessible and inviting in all weather conditions, becoming a living part of the campus environment. By combining practical functionality with playful and symbolic qualities, the installation fosters curiosity, imagination, and a closer relationship between people, knowledge, and nature.
